Abstract

This article reviews uses of the web, linked to the production and teaching of contemporary artistic practices. About artistic production, it is necessary to think about new communication technologies as modes of “democratizing” spaces, the visibility and extrainstitutional circulation of artistic practices. This kind of creations suggest other links with the public and can contribute to publicize different social and / or political issues. Regarding education, it is necessary to consider pedagogical use of ICT in the field of art education, as tools and resources to improve the knowledge construction. The web not only offers a great source of supplies, but also, it is the platform where you can work with them.
