Un Martes Cualquiera is an archival, sound, and performative installation that recovers-exposes, in a critical and poetic way, the voice, the image, the official and unofficial memories of the massacre of the workers of the AZTRA sugar mill that happened on Tuesday, October 18, 1977, during the military dictatorship. This article exposes the thought process that allowed the implementation of this work for the Nuevo Mariano Aguilera award. This paper displaces the aesthetic question of the images towards their political role as an operation of double disappearance: on one hand, the bodies of the workers killed during the military dictatorship an,d on the other, the possible representations of horror.
