Abstract

Various science fiction authors have imagined dystopian, interplanetary, and technological futures. Ray Bradbury, however, stands out for his poetic and sensorial language, capable of creating atmospheric imagery through descriptions that appeal to the senses. This work analyzes four of his stories from a chromatic, sensory, and abstract perspective. In art and design, Mark Rothko explored color as a direct language for the spirit, capable of transcending the intellect and connecting with human emotions through chromatically symbolic compositions. Inspired by both creators, visual proposals were developed to translate the atmosphere and sensations of each story, using artificial intelligence tools—an emblem of the technology imagined by Bradbury and its impact on contemporary life. The result may be questioned in terms of legitimacy or authorship, yet it stands on experimentation, boldness, and the improbable convergence of sensibilities.
