Dossier # 03: Historicities of Art in Latin America includes contributions from the practice of three artists from the region, Pablo Barriga (Ecuador), Alvaro Barrios (Colombia) and Diego Barboza (Venezuela). A common thread that unites the work of these artists is their artistic practice from an approach to the history of art and to the very history of artistic representation. In this same dossier we include the article on project / file LIPADA, research project fomented from the same PUCE, which includes in its collection an important archives of art in Ecuador, that of the art space of Quito. In this issue we introduce a new section titled: Dialogues. In which we include a sustained conversation between the Uruguayan artist Luis Camintzer and Paulina León, artist and cultural manager from Quito. In our section art topics, articles on various topics related to art are included, among them the reflection on museums in the era of digital culture by Pedro Cagigal or the reflection on the research project Memories Tangibles of Penipe by Consuelo Crespo.
