Abstract

This article analyzes the sound discourse through its conversion into graphic representations. Music’s main parameters, such as dramaturgy, time, intramusical space, intensity, orquestration, among others, will be converted into images. To achieve these goals, the work La muerte del guerrillero (1968-1969) written by the composer Harold Gramatges Leyte-Vidal (Santiago de Cuba, 1918 - Havana, 2008) was studied through a music-graphic. This suggests a practical and effective methodological alternative for music research since the resulting graphics will help the way to understand multiple meanings of the music.
