Abstract

The exhibition “Lo múltiple y lo único.  Fotografía en expansión” brings together a series of projects that explore photography’s capabilities as an expanding medium. The works of Carolina Magnin, Lorena Fernández, Martín Bollati, Lucía Von Sprecher, Lisa Giménez, Estefanía Landesmann, Lucía Peluffo, Inmensidades, Hernán Kacew y Natacha Ebers examine different aspects and possibilities of the medium, based on research that connects photography to different materials and media. All this research, linked to each other through different degrees of conflict, suggest a critical disassembly situation that creates tension about the medium, between the multiple and the unique.
